[attr="class","official-header"]1 YEAR OLD; FEMALE; DINOSAUR; REPRODUCTION-SEXUAL???;
[attr="class","official-header"]Appearance
[attr="class","official-content"][break][break]
A hybrid creation, Indominus rex looks rather like many dinosaurs stuck in a blender and jammed into one creature. She has a rather raptor-like body appearance - despite being nearly 50 feet long - though her forearms are significantly more developed and are equipped with opposable thumbs and a giant sickle claw on each middle finger. She runs on two legs, but is capable of settling on all fours if she so pleases. An instability in her gene structure resulted in a misshapen jaw, which led to her teeth sticking out at odd angles - and frequently breaking. Another instability in her genetics caused her to become albino, though she is capable of changing her coloration due to the cuttlefish genes used in her creation.[break]

[attr="class","official-header"]PERSONALITY
[attr="class","official-content"]Indy is a strange beast. While her behavior can be seen as violent and malicious, that is far from the reality of the situation. Despite her high intelligence, she is still an animal, and instinct rules her behavior. Growing up in isolation has alienated her from the world, and she has no idea how she is meant to act. She is quick to become frightened or alarmed - as others view her in fear - and she often lashes out at the new things in her life, simply from a lack of understanding.
[break][break]
When left to her own devices, however, Indominus is a very curious creature. She seeks out unknowns, trying her hardest to understand the strange world around her. Her time in isolation has led her to believe that she is her own alpha, and that other creatures are simply prey. At the same time, there is an instinct in her that longs for others of her kind. She refuses to accept weakness - as is evident in how she devoured her own brother when she hatched before he had.

[attr="class","official-header"]HISTORY
[attr="class","official-content"]A need for increased revenue in the park was the public story for Indominus' creation, but in reality, the creation of hybrids had started years prior. Indominus rex herself was born two years after research had begun, alongside her brother. The first to hatch, she found herself in a sterile white room with nobody around. In her confusion and hunger, she attacked her brother's egg, clawing it open and devouring the embryo inside.
[break][break]
This set the tone for the rest of her life. The researchers who had worked on her viewed the Indominus rex with fear. She was too smart, too fast, too strange, and despite not having an understanding of human language, she understood body language and tone well enough. They were afraid of her, and instinct taught her that "fear" meant "food". She was "vicious", but how else was a predator meant to act? Her life was one of solitude, of wary glances and buzzing sticks that hurt when she was jabbed with them.
[break][break]
She learned to stay away from the workers and their sticks, but as she grew, the cage became too confined for her liking. She wanted to run, wanted to hunt, and every day, she could see the strange flying creatures zipping around overhead. Surely there was something out there for her. So she began to attack the fences, her methods almost methodical. The glass was the only thing that offered any give, but the handlers were quick to punish her for her attempted escape.
[break][break]
So she watched. And waited. They fed her and made sure her prison was well equipped, but with each passing day, she grew more restless. There was something beyond the gates, and she longed to see it.
