[attr="class","official-content"]Blue... Blue is an interesting little bugger. She's one of the most intelligent raptors they hold in the pen, which is mostly why she quickly rose to the rank of 'beta', according to Owen. She see's herself as the alpha female, and sees almost all the other velociraptors as family. Unlike her sisters, she's not as strong. In fact, had they been born in the wild, she likely would've been picked off as a runt for her small size at hatching. However, she's a definite match for them. She's very stubborn, not backing down from a fight, and very pushy. She fought Echo for dominance once, and won simply by being faster and playing dirty, proving the velociraptor is not one to fight fair. Still, despite that, she would never bite the hand that feeds her, nor would she hurt her siblings beyond what was necessary.[break][break]More often than not, however, Blue acts without thinking. She may not attack her trainers or the occasional soul brave enough to throw her a rat, but if you trespass, she won't hesitate to leap, no matter how big you are. It's a weakness that will likely be her downfall, but one that could be seen as rather... human. After all, even the smartest person can fall prey to impatience. Blue also happens to be extremely protective of her little pack, as well as her trainers. After all, Owen raised her, Delta, Charlie, and Echo, from birth, and their relationship is a tad paternal. She will attack anything she believes would threaten her pack, and often hisses at people who yell around the paddock, especially if it's directed toward the guy who apparently thinks he's the alpha male. Not that she doesn't follow him around like a puppy anyway, though. A very dangerous and not very adorable puppy.

[attr="class","official-content"]Blue was born into Jurassic World. She and her siblings, they were the first new raptors to be born in the park. They had no idea what their predecessors had done, they didn't know why they were only allowed in such a confined space. To them, that was how things were. They longed for open world to run in, of course, just like any animal in a small space, but any escape attempt was quickly brought to an end by the men and women patrolling their paddock. Still, things were hardly bleak. Blue has had a fairly good life, especially for something so easily able to kill and maim. Owen was sort of the team mom, in a way, having imprinted on the new pack as babies. When young, they followed him like a trail of ducklings, often biting at his ankles in attempts to get him to play with them. She doesn't quite remember why he stopped physically coming into the paddock... maybe it had to do with the fight between her and Echo that resulted in her sibling being scarred for life across her muzzle. It'd been a rather dirty fight, around the time their heads were just reaching above a human's waist. A battle for dominance, one that their trainer failed to break up in time. Charlie and Delta didn't bother fighting her, stepping back and letting her take the spot as leader with very little resistance. Owen was still the main honcho, of course, and still kinda is, but, well... teenage anarchy was and still is pretty common in the raptor paddock.[break][break]Training was something Blue looked forward to the moment it started, long before their alpha male stopped walking around with them. She enjoyed the activities, as they gave her something to do, and gave her ideas for how to keep the pack in check when their main alpha wasn't around. Still, the older and bigger she gets, the more she yearns to break free, to run with all her pack and do something more than aimlessly do tricks and snap at each other. Maybe one day. Those bars are not impassible, she knows, she's seen the alpha male walk in and out of them countless times. There has to be a way to get out and stake a claim on what Blue knows is a rather large landmass.[break]
